Love Birds
Love Birds is a piece of wearable technology designed to extend the user’s sensory awareness. The masks translate the wearer’s heart rate into the movement of feathers, allowing users to visually perceive each other’s reactions and responses. In this way, the hidden rhythms of the heart are exposed.
Gelukzoekers
Gelukszoekers is a game that takes its name from the Dutch term often used derogatorily to describe refugees seeking a better future. Through gameplay, players are challenged to reflect on a critical question: Who are the real gelukszoekers? Is it the people striving for a better life, or the smugglers who exploit their suffering for profit?
Leap of Faith
Leap of Faith is a Plinko board reimagined with wooden dolls replacing the marbles. This interactive piece invites users to step into the perspective of the dolls, posing a critical question: Will the healthcare system let you fall, or will you land in good hands? For many, however, the reality is getting stuck in the system.
